3 EASY STEPS TO MAKE MONEY AS A WRITER IN NIGERIA WITHOUT HUSTLING FOR ADS AND READERS

There has been a very difficult challenge facing Nigerian Writers. The challenge of earning from their talents. While writing hard copy books are becoming unfashionable, it’s even more difficult to sell books on Amazon.

For Journalists like myself, writing for Newspapers is almost a complete waste of time as most of them do not pay, and those who pay, always pay so little.

Most painful is that marketing our sites drains up our writing time, such that our works are not as good as they should be.

1. SIGN UP WITH MEDIUM: This is very easy. With your Android or iOS, download MEDIUM from Play store or Apple Store, or with your laptop, go to medium.com. Open the App and Sign up with your email to get started. You will then customize your profile and choose your domain name just like zobadegreat.medium.com. Then use settings to design your profile as you wish.
2. PUBLISH YOUR FIRST ARTICLE AND GET 100 FOLLOWERS: In your profile, you will see an option for START WRITING. Either you write your article or paste the one you have written before. Then you will need 100 followers to apply for monetization of your content. For those who came through me, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. I am building a community of Nigerian Medium Writers. Through this, you will get 100 followers in a blink of an eye.
3. APPLY FOR MONETIZATION AND START EARNING: This is the most frustrating part for most Nigerians because we usually receive technical knockouts due to payment systems. They only pay with Stripe Accounts and they have zero tolerance for yahoo boys. So, most Nigerians get stuck here and quit but guess what? That’s where I come in.
